As far back as I remember:
On Wednesday, Mary and I had an awesome afternoon, which I was very happy about since it was Mary’s birthday. (If you have to work on your birthday, it better be enjoyable at least.) We prepared our “Sales/Elevator Pitch” for my class on Thursday, and honestly, I feel we completely smoked it! Yaaay us!!!
We also came up with short term revenue generating goals, long term revenue generating goals, reviewed two of my old publications, of which one can be easily updated (and will be.) We also interviewed a potential hiree attendant.
Thursday, went from a great Sales Pitch, to meeh – okay, to overhearing a really offensive “lunch time conversation” that was taking place in the classroom, to annoyed, to frustration, to “Ohhh fuck…Ohhh fuck…OHHH FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”‘ when I saw my joystick up on its ass-end when somehow it and a door decided they just had to have each other!
Upon arriving home, I guess my joystick was so pissed at me for not letting it have its way with the door, (but in my defense, it was a public door – where passersby could see the encounter taking place) it decided to snap it’s mounting bolt and tried to make a run for it.
Friday was a combination of exhaustion, frustration and just plain blaaaaaaah!
But now It’s Saturday, and so far, I like it! I’ve written this post, responded to some attendant applications, and plan to work on other business stuff later.
