Sure you can provide hosting and product services for free of cost. You are just choosing not to.
A dismal $38.85 after my blog being down for 36+ hours?
Again this is an insult, and another post for my blog.
Sincerely,
Gerianne

Hello Gerianne,
Thank you for your reply.
I understand how important your website is to your business. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Sadly, we cannot provide hosting and product services for free of cost. So I have added two month of hosting credit worth CA$25.90 to your account. Currently your account has total credit of CA$38.85. This credit will be applied for future renewals or purchases.
Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any further questions, we are happy to help you.
I’m sorry but I find your email both appalling and insulting.
My site was down for roughly 36 hours on Saturday, October 6, and Sunday, October 7. Two of your tech support people (on live chat) admitted that the issue was “a technical glitch”. That means the issue was caused at your end, not my doing. During that time I lost traffic, readership, credibility, job applicants, etc. Furthermore, on Monday, October 8, I received two additional emails from Jetpack saying they were unable to tack my stats for earlier on Monday, so clearly my site must have been down again.
If “the wp-content folder which contains the plugins and themes” were not proper at any point in time, it was because of the “glitch” with iPage.com, and NOT because of anything I did! I DID NOT REMOVE ANY FILES! My password is strongly encrypted. For you to even imply that this was in any way my error is deplorable and despicable.
As compensation for all of my losses, damages and personal stress, you are giving me a whopping $12.95 credit? Are you serious? Again, THIS IS DEPLORABLE, DESPICABLE, AND AN OUTRAGE! I am therefore requesting, as proper compensation from iPage.com, the following:
3 years FREE unlimited web hosting.
3 years FREE FULL SiteLock protection
A completely FREE e-commerce package with a full functioning shopping cart for 3 years.
PLUS $500 for your extremely poor customer relations tactics.
Also rest assured this email (and yours) will be posted on my blog.

Hello Gerianne,

The domain disabilitypride.net is pointing to the home directory since the last 14 days. I checked the backup files and I could see that the wp-content folder which contains the plugins and themes are proper in the last 14 days backups except for the backup of October 7, 2018. It does not has the proper files. We restored the files from the other backups we had and the website was restored.
We do not make any changes from our end without our customers authorization. Since the files were missing, the files must have been removed. I suggest that you reset the password for the account to a strong value.
Strong passwords must meet the following criteria:
2 or more Numbers
1 or more Special Characters
1 or more Uppercase characters
1 or more Lowercase characters
To learn how to reset the account password, please refer the link: https://www.ipage.com/help/article/account-how-to-change-your-account-password
We keep the last 14 days backup of the website files and the last 3 days backup of the databases.
Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any further questions, we are happy to help you.
So, a woman in church this morning told me that I was apparently in The Chronicle Herald yesterday, (or recently) talking about the rights of disabled people. It sounds like me, but I know nothing of it. I wasn’t interviewed. She said “It wasn’t a very good picture of you.” (lol) So, maybe it was me. Maybe it wasn’t me. Who knows. Maybe it was a reprint of an old article, or maybe the Herald picked up something from my blog and if DisabilityPride.net is getting its own media exposure, AWESOME!!!!! I just wish I had a clue about it. lol.
So, if anyone knows anything of this, would you kindly fill me in, please.

To Wal-Mart Pharmacy
[Location Deleted.]
To Whom It may Concern:
I find your new “
Wal-Mart Pharmacy Privacy Consent Form
” to be highly offensive for the following reasons:
• Terms such as “care giver” and “agent” are demeaning, disrespectful, and patronizing to someone who simply requires
physical assistance
.
• Needing physical assistance
does not require
an “agent” or a “care giver” to “act” in any official capacity.
• Merely picking up a prescription for someone
does not require
the person picking up the items to know any medical information about the “prescribie”.
• Should the person picking up the prescribie’s items show official Photo ID and be on a list provided and signed by the prescribie? Absolutely YES! But
they do not need to be classified as an “agent” or as a “care giver.”
The person is simply picking up the items. Nothing more.
Therefore,
I DO NOT give Wal-Mart Pharmacy consent to regard the people listed here within as my “agents” or “care givers.”
Also,
I DO NOT give Wal-Mart Pharmacy my consent to share my medical information with the people listed here within
.
I
DO
however,
give Wal-Mart Pharmacy my consent to release my prescriptions to the following people, who may sometimes pick up my pharmacy items on my behalf, provided they show official Photo ID and are on the list below.
Please note that I will update this list from time to time as I deem necessary. The current named people as of the date stated atop of this letter are:

Thank you for your understanding and service.

It stops us from getting what we want, when all fear was ever designed to do is protect us from harm.
FEAR MOVES.
It moves around your body, it moves from one idea to another, from one image to another, from one situation to another.
If you are afraid of moths and then overcome that fear, it doesn’t mean you are through with FEAR for life – there will always be fear. But also…
FEAR GROWS.
And it GETS SMALLER, too. You can work to make fear smaller, or you can work to make fear bigger.
This is where you have a choice.
